Silk Market

The Silk Market is the most notable gothic-style building in the city of Valencia. It is located in its historic centre. Building work started on it in 1483 by Pere Compte and Joan Ibarra, at the initiative of the municipality.

House-Museum of Silk (Requena)

The Requena House-Museum of Silk is located at the former centre of the College of High Silk Art of this town and is the most significant witness of the silk history of Requena. The splendour of its silk trade resulted in the foundation of its College of High Silk Art in 1725, which was constituted as an institution independent from its equivalents in Valencia or Toledo. Requena, with an approximate 600 looms, became one of the main silk production centres in all of Spain.

Diocesan Cathedral Museum

The Diocesan Cathedral Museum of Valencia, created in 1761, is a museum of sacred art located inside the Cathedral of Valencia. The building conserves remains of the architecture from the 13th to the 19th centuries and contains works of art and other historical testimonies of great interest.

Paintball

Paintball is a sport in which participants use markers powered by compressed air, CO2 or other gases, to shoot small balls filled with paint at other players. In essence, it is a complex strategy game in which players are eliminated from the game when they are hit by a paintball, sometimes temporarily, sometimes definitively, depending on the type of play. Contrary to popular belief, it is one of the safest outdoor sports.

Canyoning

This activity includes a walking route using specific equipment, descending through riverbeds, torrents and ravines, and avoiding natural obstacles by means of different techniques, such as mountaineering and caving. It is an opportunity to discover places that can only be seen from this perspective.

Caving

About three-quarters of the Region of Valencia is formed by limestone rocks, which favour the formation of cavities as a result of the dissolution of the water that is infiltrated into the subsoil.

Multi-adventure

Adventure circuits or parks combine activities such as suspension bridges, zip lines, handrails, and Tibetan bridges, among others. They require a certain degree of skill, but the supervision of the expert monitors of the companies that offer this type of active tourism, converts these activities into a surprising form of fun and excitement. When these same techniques are performed by taking advantage of the height of the trees we call them canopying or aerial multi-adventure.
