Cooperativa La Alcublana

What you think and feel depends on what you eat and drink.

In the Alcublas cooperative we believe that everything we think and feel depends directly on what we eat and what we drink, and that both our health and energy come from everything we “put into our mouth”. This is main reason why we have been harvesting the best possible fruit since 1954, so you can enjoy food that's full of flavour and healthy too.

Mercat Colón

The Mercat Colón covered market in Valencia dates from the early 20th century, between 1914 and 1916, and was built to a design by architect Francisco Mora Berenguer. This Modernist style monument was built as a market to sell produce from the surrounding market gardens, as well as meat, poultry and fish. Nowadays, visitors can not only admire the market's beautiful architecture, they'll also find a Premium food court with a great range of bars and restaurants as well as gourmet food products.

Suc de Lluna

Welcome to the Mercat de Colón Biocafé, where you can enjoy healthy, organic, locally sourced km0 food and drink at any time of day on the quiet terrace with its little organic market garden, tended in keeping with our social and environmental values.

We serve breakfasts with responsibly sourced coffee or tea. Lunches feature salads, paella with no artificial colouring and organic burgers suitable for vegans, all washed down with organic beers and freshly made smoothies with seasonal organic fruit.

Casa Orxata

The most veteran catering establishment in Mercat de Colón opened more than 10 years ago when the market was first inaugurated. They serve healthy natural tiger nut milk (horchata with less sugar), 100% plant-based with designation of origin tiger nuts (chufa) grown in the fields around Valencia. They also sell sponge cake (coca de llanda) and other cakes made in-house using certified organic ingredients. Enjoy ecological ice cream (gluten and dairy free), the best winter drinking chocolate or smoothies using juices from the fields (sucs de l'horta). Exclusive to Casa Orxata!
