Museo del Aceite de Segorbe

Located inside an old oil mill, the Belluga building has a museum dedicated to olive oil. It is an interesting interpretation centre that covers the culture of the olive tree and the process of making the oil.

Its museum exhibition houses various machinery and tools used in field work, accompanied by audiovisual and interactive elements that recreate the traditional olive oil production process and its development throughout history.

Alojamientos rurales La Belluga

The La Belluga rural complex is an old restored oil mill in the municipality of Segorbe (Castellón), in the Alto Palancia region. It is, without a doubt, one of the best places to enjoy oil tourism in the Region of Valencia.

It has six beautiful apartments, with 2, 4, 6 and 8 places, which are fully equipped for a pleasant holiday with family or friends as you discover the world of olive oil.

Oil Museum

The old oil press in the Belluga building is now home to Segorbe's Oil Museum. This innovative interpretation centre gives visitors the chance to find out more about olive growing culture, delve into the world of the precious liquid gold and explore one of the essences of the Mediterranean dating back more than 7,000 years.

La Esperanza spring and chapel

Three kilometres from Segorbe and on a leafy hill is the Esperanza chapel, standing alongside the remains of what was once a Hieronymite monastery, founded in the late 15th century and destroyed during the Carlist wars. The spring is at the foot of the hill, with more than enough water to supply the city and irrigate part of its agricultural land, as well as supplying a further two neighbouring towns.

Fountain of the 50 spouts

This beautiful spot is on the right-hand bank of the Palancia river, near the city, and has plenty of shade plus a restaurant. It makes an ideal setting for enjoying nature and relaxing in rural surroundings. Over the spouts on the fountain you can see fifty heraldic shields, one for each Spanish province.

A lovely place for a stroll and for watching the river flowing by.

Catedral Basílica de Segorbe

La Catedral Basílica de Segorbe was built over the site of the old mosque after the region was conquered by the Crown of Aragón. The cathedral was designed in the Gothic style back in the 12th century and attached to the city's south wall. Over the centuries that followed it was gradually extended northwards. The last major renovation work was carried out in the 18th century to adapt it to the enlightened tastes of the time.
