The Royal Monastery of La Santísima Trinidad in Valencia is an old monastery site that is still being used for its original purpose today. It was founded by Queen María of Castile, the wife of King Alfonso V "El Magnánimo" (The Magnanimous).
Santo Espiritu monastery was founded by Maria de Luna, wife of Martín I, who in 1404 left it in her will to the friars of “Sancti Spiritu”, although it was subsequently occupied by Franciscan monks.

The monastery of Santa Clara is an enclosed convent inhabited by nuns from the Order of Saint Clare (also known as the Poor Clares). The building is Gothic and was restored in 1967. It was listed as an Asset of Local Importance.
The Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba in the municipal area of Alfauir (València) is set on the hillock of Cotalba in beautiful countryside only about eight kilometres from Gandía. It's privately owned and has been open to the public since 2005 through an agreement set up with the Department of Culture at the Generalitat Valenciana, the València regional government.
The Real Monasterio de Santa María de la Valldigna is in Simat de la Valldigna and was founded by King Jaime II of Aragón in 1298. Rodrigo de Borgia, Pope Alexander VI, and César de Borgia were both Abbots of this monastery.
