At the southern end of the Region of Valencia, in the province of Alicante, there are extensive fine sandy beaches with dune systems, coves and inlets. Sailing under the shelter of watchtowers, you can visit floating museums and resources associated with the sea and salt.

Region of Valencia Wine-Tourism Federation
The mission of the Region of Valencia Wine-Tourism Federation is to bring together the different Wine Routes that currently exist in the Region of Valencia. The partnership's main objective is to promote wine tourism and wine culture throughout the region. Three-win routes have joined the project so far: Alicante, Castellon and Utiel-Requena, while Valencia province will soon be joining their ranks.
La Pastora Cooperative
La Pastora is a specially protected non-profit Cooperative. Its members are from the area of Els Ports, with a background in education and the environment.
Our activities revolve around Environmental Education, Ecotourism and Rural Development.
Our goals include achieving a change in awareness through education, encouraging responsible tourism that values the area’s cultural and natural heritage, and promoting social, cultural or economic initiatives within the context of the region of Els Ports and the rest of the province of Castelló.
Kitesurfing and windsurfing
The wide fine-sand beaches, thermal breezes and warm waters of the Region of Valencia are perfect for starting kitesurfing and windsurfing or any other sailing sport.
Sailing
Valencia hosted the America’s Cup and and Alicante was the start port of the Volvo Ocean Race.
Tabarca Island Marine Reserve
Tabarca is the only inhabited island in the Region of Valencia and was the first Marine Reserve to be declared in Spain, in 1986.
